ADHD Self Check provides an online implementation of the WHO-validated Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) as a free screening tool for adults. The screener is designed to help you understand your symptom profile and have a more informed conversation with a healthcare professional.
ADHD Self Check is a screening tool, not a diagnostic instrument. A positive result does not mean you have ADHD. A negative result does not mean you don't. Only a qualified clinician - a psychiatrist, psychologist, or appropriately trained GP - can diagnose ADHD. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
The ASRS-v1.1 screener is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may use it to assess your own symptom profile and share your results with a healthcare professional. You may not use the screener to assess others in a professional or clinical capacity, or reproduce it for commercial purposes.
The ASRS-v1.1 has been validated for use as a screening tool in adults. It is not diagnostic. It does not account for all possible explanations for the symptoms it measures, including anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, and other conditions that can produce similar presentations. Your results should always be interpreted in the context of a proper clinical assessment.
