Who we are

ADHD Self Check is an online ADHD screening tool available at adhdselfcheck.com. The screener is based on the WHO-validated Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1). We are not a medical practice and do not provide diagnoses, clinical advice, or treatment.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Email address - collected when you choose to receive your results by email. This is optional. You can view your results without providing an email.
• Screener responses - your answers to the 18-question ASRS-v1.1 screener. These are processed in your browser to generate your score and are not stored anywhere else at any time.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data - standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit. This is used to understand how the site is used and to maintain security.
• Cookies - we use minimal cookies for site functionality and anonymous analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels that follow you across other sites, except as described below.

Payment information

If you purchase the ADHD Self Check Workbook, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing and is available at stripe.com/privacy.

How we use your information

• To send follow-up emails about ADHD information and resources if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To process workbook purchases
• To understand how the site is used and improve it
• To maintain the security and performance of the site

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your screener responses or email address with advertisers.

Email marketing

If you provide your email address, you may receive a series of emails about ADHD information, resources, and the ADHD Self Check Workbook. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We use MailerLite to manage email delivery. Their privacy policy is available at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Analytics and tracking

We use Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) on this site to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This may set a cookie in your browser. You can opt out of Meta's data use at facebook.com/about/privacy. We may also use Google Analytics for aggregate, anonymised traffic analysis.

Data retention

Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Anonymous usage logs are retained for up to 90 days.

Your rights

Children
